Last July during the Dirt Finals at the BMX Worlds in Cologne, Germany, Tim Korbmacher shot this amazing series of 4 BMX photos. He happened upon a nearby bridge with excellent lines and light, and knew that he needed to do something with it. Normally it's not an easy task to get creative photos at big events because both the riders and photographers are focused on shooting the action combined with the branding and audience. He made it his mission to take advantage of the unique architecture of the bottom of the bridge and the confluence of the world's top riders. Tim was able to pull away from the event Rob Darden, Ben Wallace, Colton Satterfield, and Anthony Napolitan. Although all the photos were shot in the same manner, he prefers it when a couple are flipped so the bridge frames the riders. And as he says "if you get tired of the same look, just flip it."
